Sunshine is truly the BEST anti-depressant!!

Not that I was depressed, but after getting out in the sunshine this morning, I was totally refueled!  I took "The Littles" down to Chambers Bay and we took a little walk which led us to the new pedestrian bridge.  The bridge then led us to the beach where we pretended to be pirates, specifically the pirates from the show, Jake and the Neverland Pirates (Disney Channel).  We dug for buried treasure and came home with a few "jewels".

See?  Proof of the sunshine!!!

Chambers Bay

Climbing.  Always climbing.

Oh wait.  Climbing AND jumping.

Jane gets in on the action.

But Jane much prefers posing.

This looks like such a sweet shot, but truth-be-told, one nanosecond later
Sam shoved Jane clear into the middle of the walkway.  I mean, let's be real.

Such a cool vantage point over the railroad tracks.

"Hey Sam.  Wrong way!  That's a dead end!"
And then we went to Costco for groceries and lunch.  The end.  :)

Ee-eye-ee-eye-OOOPS!!

Charlotte's 2nd Grade Musical Performance was a hoot!  She was very proud to audition for, and get, the only "musical solo" in the show.  Each kid had a line in the play, and the songs were hysterical.  Charlotte was one of the "Lost Sheep" trying to find their beloved Bo Peep.

The SOLO!!!

Sam - that's an outdoor toy

Still, not a bad idea when it's raining outside.

Cousin Kate

There's that smile we love!

Also known as Baby Kate, Katers, Katerkins, Katearoo or Sugar Buns.  Okay, I made the last one up.  But as you can see, she's DANG cute, and her cousins love her to pieces!!

Kate's not worried about Jane holding her.  She just sees Sam approaching.  I'd be afraid too.

Charlotte is the one who makes Kate belly laugh the most, and she's super proud of it!!!

Alderbrook Getaway

We spent the first weekend in February at the peaceful Alderbrook Resort out at Hood Canal.  It was a foggy, drizzly weekend that was totally relaxing.  We enjoyed good food, good wine and fabulous company - each other!!
We owe a huge thank you to Grannie and Grandma & Grandpa Cukamo for spending the weekend with the kids.  They too had a wonderful time.
