We had a lovely Christmas Eve dinner with Grandma & Grandpa Kiehl, Uncle "Buddy", Auntie Jane and Cousin Kate.  Thanks everyone for joining us in this fun tradition!

Cukamo Christmas

Last night we had Christmas at my parents' house.  Since we currently do Christmas day at my sister's, with the WHOLE family, my parents like to have each of their children's families over for their own Christmas dinner.  This way, my parents get to do presents on a "small grand kid scale", instead of 8 Christmas-crazed grand kids opening stuff all at once.  This was a super fun night!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

PNWEye Christmas Party

I started a new job in June after being at the same ambulatory surgery center for 11 years.  It was sad to leave my old job, as the whole place was closing down, and everybody had to move on.   However, I've loved getting to know my new co-workers and I think they're gonna work out just fine. 

We had a lovely Christmas party at the Hotel Murano where even Santa showed up!  Here are most of the folks I work with at Pacific Northwest Eye Surgery Center.  They're a good bunch.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY back on the above date, a certain guy took me on a first date to Pt. Defiance Zoolights.  So tonight, TWENTY YEARS later, we took our kids on the same date.  It was cold, but thankfully dry, and now there are TWO Narrows Bridges, but they still had the same purple tree I fell in love with the first time -- and the same guy.

This morning I mentioned to Sam that we needed to get gas today.

"We should probably go through the car shower too."

Too bad Mother Nature is taking care of that today, buddy.
